Well I have bought a new pony! It will be at least 2 years till Ata is ready to do lots of work, and Tika will be longer and I am not rushing them.

Lucy is on and off lame still and Manda is just not into it. Does not like to canter and will buck and kick and refuse to move out.

I will still work Manda, and will see how Lucy goes when the ground softens up a bit.

Another reason for getting another horse is that I find Manda a struggle to ride and seem to fight to get every step out of her. I do not want to teach the young ones this when I start them.

So have bought a 6 year old mare, though green has been well started and is a keen willing little horse. She is a TB but has never raced and has been owned by the woman I have bought her off since she was a yearling, and started by her as well.

She was very snuggly when I was handling her, and was happy being touched all over.
